At the TOTE Foundation, we've been busy turning compassion into action. Our mission to reduce social isolation among seniors is gaining momentum, and we're thrilled to share some exciting updates from our latest initiatives.
Halloween party brings joy to local seniors
This October, we're hosting our first- ever Spooktacular Seniors Halloween Party, with festive decorations, nostalgic music, cozy costumes, and plenty of pumpkin pie, this event will bring together dozens of elderly guests for an afternoon of laughter, storytelling, and connection. When talking about this Halloween Party, one senior said to me, oh! this will be so much fun, I haven't dressed up for Halloween in 40 years. That's the kind of impact we strive for- moments that remind seniors they're not alone. In addition to our event, we are launching a Fall Care Kit Drive, delivering tote bags filled with seasonal treats, puzzles, warm socks, and handwritten notes to seniors who can't attend in person. These small gestures go a long way in reminding our elders that they're remembered and valued.
